We provide Web Hosting Services to our clients. All of the servers are located at a professional Network Operations Centre (N.O.C.) and are connected via multiple T-1/DS-3(T-3) connections to the major backbones (mainly MCI and IConn). This allows for optimal speed, performance and reliability - as even if one of the major backbones fails (highly unlikely), we have a connection to another one. This is a major advantage very few other providers have - independent backbone high-speed fault-tolerant connections.FYI: a DS-3 connection is a T-3 connection, except is uses Fibre Optics cables and not regular copper wire.
We have Sun SPARCstations - Optimized for web hosting. With the latest version of Solaris (Unix) operating software, Apache HTTPD daemon with Virtual hosting and many additional software packages such as database software, mailing list software, autoresponder software, search engines, support for many file formats (shockwave, JAVA, real-time audio and video) and more. Some servers might have more custom software installed.
We prefer to use our resources to provide you with the best and fastest web hosting possible. One of the major advantages of our set-up is that we are not sharing our connection with modem users - so almost all the bandwidth we have is reserved for serving your web documents. This also means that it doesn't matter where on the planet you live. All you need is an account with your local Internet Service Provider, and you won't incur any long distance charges - NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE. In fact, many of our clients are located outside North America.
The servers are backed up nightly and are monitored 24 hours / 365 days a year.
